Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
DICE Demize has just posted a poll on what people think about the ranking system been too fast , as some people might know , its possible to reach top rank in about 1-2 weeks ATM and i know alot of people think BF2 ranking system was perfect , well , here is your chance to have your say.
Yeah BF2 was waaaaay to slow, i gave up after staff sergeant, couldn't do it anymore.
BF2142 was good, it took time however wasn't too long, was about right.
BFBC2 should adopt this style.
Then my stats were wiped but I managed to get them back and now I look like a magical 2nd Lieutenant with 35hrs of play lol http://bf2s.com/player/43342865/
BF2 was the best people that played for ranks actually quit the game earlier, and those that really enjoyed the game played it to have fun. BF2142 any noob got to general it was a joke.
Any noob can get General in BF2... Rank has nothing to do with skill. Obviously the higher skilled you are the quicker you will get General but seriously... If someone got 1 point a round and played.... For a long time. They would still get General, there is no challenge. Except the patience of a Greek god.
Something I will say though after reviewing the 2142 system is the 57,700 is too little. I'd set top rank for 100,000 - 120,000.
PS: IMO I'm happy the people that just play for rank quit. They are more often than not the people who have no interest in team play and just want to point whore and shout abuse at team members.
If they did the same sort of think as the 2142 but made the ranks longer to get to say 100,000 points for 3 star then that would make it last longer. 2142 was to short especially with the server badge bug (10,000 points a round anyone?).
It took me approx 2 years in BF2 to get the points for 3 star but dont have the flying time to get the last badge I need for my stars.
