played my a$$ off this past week and finally unlocked the 1887s. unlocked the akimbos right away and imma enjoy noobing around with these until they get nerfed. funny how these make your primary weapon seem like they're secondary weapons.
btw, is anyone else noticing a disturbing trend as of late? i think 80% of my deaths come via akimbo 1887s. everyone is just whoring these like a mofo.

There is one or two a round. I think everyone knows the nerfing is coming.
I think, if IW does nerf them, it will just be the range. Everything else is pretty good with them and being a shotgun.

Exactly, it is all fine but the range. They will still be very strong guns but at lest you will be able to retaliate against them instead of running into your death(or away).
if they take out range, then it'll be like the rangers, which are also pretty powerful in CQ situations. they need to distinguish the 2 from each other.

But slightly offtopic still, am i the only person that thinks this? The fact you can get knifed from about 8 metres away is ridiculous.
I do not think it is 8 meters away but it is close, If you have a knifer on a server you aren't going to get a high kill streak.
However this is the same if you have a 1887 user.
Commando pro is ridiculous anyways. No fall damage + longer knife? :/
first you guys cry over the models because they made them as they wanted them to be.. now you guys think commando is "ridiculous" because the pro part of it, honestly i liked the models the way they were even tho they killed me from 10 yards away, idc it was a fun gun. evryone are hypocrites because i guarantee you all used them and loved them and didnt like getting killed by them. if im wrong just go back to CoD4 and dont ruined it for everyone else please, i hope in the future they bring the range and power back up

But there are other classes which can be just as bad.

Basically, people take the game way to seriously and need to sit back and realize it is a game. The grenade launcher (aka the nube tuber for those who forgot) is here to stay and isn't going anywhere.
