I know this is nothing new, but the person, or persons, was messaging people in my group. They ask you to log onto a fake steam community website and log in. This is a fake site, your account will be hijacked, password will be changed and your games will be stolen, then your account will be used to further the scam until banned. This is not the first of its kind, but it usually pops up after popular new games, such as MW2, are released. People on the MW2 group are being targeted.

This is good, for those that are new to steam. It's the oldest trick on the book, never follow a link that asks you to log into the steam website even if its from your best friend or clan mate, the website is usually just an exact copy that collects passwords.
Someone tried to pull this off on me not too long ago:
