  • And so the hype starts...

Over the past few days, on British TV I have noticed that every other advert is MW2 add, many of the national papers and tabloids have written about it, one of them mentioning the controversial killing of civilians part of the game.

In any case the ball is rolling and with just over 24 hours until release, it looks like its set to be a hit, regardless of the disappointed PC gamers.

    Few links:

With US orders at 2.4m and rising, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 could be the biggest-selling video game ever, writes Killian Fox

I haven't noticed it much on TV, certainly the Telegraph hasn't mentioned anything...

But yeh, there is quite a bit of hype about it, and most of my friends have pre-ordered the game to recieve it on Tuesday morning (note: PS3 and 360 ONLY - I seem to be the only moron going for PC )

Also, I think you're completely right when you say PC gamers will be disappointed. MW2 will not be the only port that came out this year that was expected to be one of the greatest. I mean, look at OFR, that game was supposed to be awesome, and turned out to be a port, then quickly died (for the PC, that is).

MW2 PC is all about the die-hard fans. I don't think we'll be seeing casual gamers anymore...

    BUT, I'm still gettin' it

£30. Both HMV and Game are that price.

                  Hah true that!

However, The Sun has no mention of MW2 (that I know of). Therefore, does that make it a high brow paper?

                        Then I stand corrected, £34,99. Not £30.
