Does sitting idle at spawn screen actually increase time?

I've had times where I had to leave quickly and didn't shut down the game, I would come back and it would be sitting on kit selection/spawn screen.

Does this actually count towards your total time/army time. I don't really have any reason for knowing, but I was just interested.

See how many total hours you've played, then take your army times, add them up, and if they don't equal your total hours then I think you've answered your question?

Yes, but i'm pretty sure army time and total time is tied.

BF2s adds up the army times for you. I think these may be your stats?

Says you've got 112:21:34 in all the armies, and 112:22:14 total time playing. Off by about a minute, it seems.

That be me. If you're wondering about the odd stats, it's because a load of us TBF2'ers got hacked a while back. I'm not sure if anyone managed to get theirs back?

Yeah, I know quite a few TBF2'ers did. Some other forums were hit as well, BF2s included. Were you hit in that "attack"?

I was lucky to get mine back, EA didn't want to hear anything.

I got my stats reinstated, but not the time. So it shows me getting loads of kills in little time. Kinda screwed up because only some were put back.

mine were hacked at the same time as alex's. I was able to get EA to fix my rank, global score and some stats but no awards, badges, or time.

oh and to answer your question, I don't believe you get any time added to your stats unless you've spawned and are "in game".

Judging by the big SPM differential between gametracker and actual game stats, I don't think dead/idle time counts for real time.

I got my rank and base points back, but if you check my stats you'll see I had to start everything else again.

Which as I lost all my 550 hours, makes awards and challenges particularly difficult. I doubt I will ever get my medals back lol
