i just recently installed battlefield 2 and installed the 1.41 patch as well as the 1.50. It definetly is the 1.5 it shows it on the log on screen and main menu. i have also uninstalled and deleted bf2 from the regitry and reinstalled,(also the 1.41 and 1.5) and the servers are still coming up red. what the he11 am i missing???

A few people have mentioned problems similar to this after patching to 1.5. Even though the version number is correct on the login screen the patch may still have failed. One option is to re-download the 1.5 patch and try re-patching. Good luck -

The version number should be 1.5.3153-802.0 if it isn't you may have installed a beta patch.Comment
