So when is MW2 being released?

I know the official release is Nov. 10, but Steam is Nov. 12. If I purchase MW2 retail I still have to activate the game through Steam, as confirmed on the Steam forum. Does this mean we will be locket out of the game until Nov. 12?

I don't care about the mp issues, please stay out of this.

Edit: some of us paid for release day delivery.

Ranger, I am pretty sure you can play it on the 10th. Steam is just not letting steam purchases have it until the 12th.

Of course I dont work for steam and only a Steam rep could probably 100% answer that.
