whats it like is it like team vs team. or is it something like zombies in cod waw?

lookin for a fps for my clan i know i can rent servers for the game. just kind of curious of whats to expect dont want to go an waste money

L4D Online is either Co-Op or Versus. Co-Op is four people playing as the four humans and fighting through a campaign. Versus is four people playing as the humans and four playing as the four special infected on a campaign. A matchmaking system is used.

It is fun, but not at all like WaW zombies.

ok thanks think it might be worth the 30$ i belive walmart has it for that price. i will not be getting MW2 along with my clan and many other upset pc gamers

Just preorder l4d2 in a 4-pack instead: only $33 per person, then, and it's a brand new game!

We are also forgetting survival mode for online play, in which puts a neverending, imobilized twist onto co-op mode. As far as L4D2 I feel it should have been DLC for L4D and do not plan on buying it.

i agree with Bocephus, course I also felt that L4D was overpriced when it first came out, didn't actually buy it til it was on sale for 15 a month ago. I still feel after playing it that its just a half life mod and the price should reflect that.
