thought 1.5 was ment to balance air power

the Tv in choppers now has such a huge range you cant even see the chopper and it can now snipe infantry:shock:,you tube has confirmed this exploit

Jets are even more powerfull than before!if thats even possable:dead:

jets can kill a tank with on 2 side winder rockets(not bombs)

Jets bombs have about 50 meters kill raduis on infantry

AA range is not up to par with this increase(often i see jets or choppers but it wont lock cause there too far)

Ive also been 1 shot killed in a tank by a tank shell:shock:,like wtf!

maybe im playing on hacked servers??

basically playing vehicles is crap unless your the one in the air:evil:

I've not really noticed that. Seems the same old, except that F35's now have a chance.

1.5 for me was a major, major improvement, if only for the Vista/Win 7 support!

Isn't that how it has always been on flight maps? That is why I only play IO.

yes ive been only playing IO for a year now and my kill death ratio is actually good,onely recently i have been playing EF,AF maps out of boredom:p

IO is great no issues there.

I do swear the aussie servers are hacked lol

You may have been playing on a modded server. Wait for pilots to throw their 2 cents in. Having been airbourne for a couple of hours in BF2 post patch, I havent seen what youve described.

And yes, you can 1-shot-kill a tank if you know where to aim (Abrams has a weak spot where the shell does a ricochette, giving you two or three hits in one shot).

I've used the TV missiles and they don't have longer range now. The F35 and J10 are also much more balanced now.

Do you have a fast computer? Someone mentioned the "modded content" problem on another thread a while ago. Since I bought my new computer a couple of months ago (i7 CPU 920, and 6GB of RAM) I've been getting this quite often whenever we change maps. It's a bit of a pain having to rejoin the server, but at least the game plays very well when I do get there.

it happens when you finish loading before the server. basically your rig is too fast.

computer is fast internet was fast but due to phone lines recently in the area im now on 512/1.5:cry:

ping is about 60 now but was 25-40

AA's easy to use. The secret is to stand next to it until after the jet has flown by you, then lock em.
