Is the game worth buying?

Well I'm in need of a new FPS for a decent single player experience and as such I am wondering if World at War is decent?
I've not play a Treyarch version before and I am considering buying this if it is worth it based on your opinions.

The single player was fun and at the price now, it may be worth getting.

If it was full price, I would say no for the single player only.

I'd say yes. Despite being very linear, the single player is great. Zombies are also fun for LAN or playing with mates

In my honest opinion. CoDWaW > CoD4 . It has a great SP and I prefer its MP over CoD4's.

I liked the single player much better than COD4 (which was good btw). But like COD4, it's a little too short.

if you are a fan of World War 2 shooters then this game is for you
if your like bolt action rifles then this game is for you
if you like big maps instead of the medium mediocre maps of COD4 then this game is for you
if you like to hunt Nazi and Japanese zombies with 3 other friends then this game is for you.

Everything else......there's Mastercard.

If you want my opinion, I was a big fan of COD4 MP and SP and the answer is NO.

However, the SP is quite good and the co-op works well. The Zombies is a lot of fun. But the multilayer is down right woeful I'm afraid.

So in short, if you have friends you can play co-op with (playing with 12 year old kids screaming for chocolate milk is funny at first but then sort of wears out a little) and can get hold of it for half price then do so.

Otherwise, no.

if you like spray through walls and playing a game that requires slim to no skill Cod4 is the game for u. u'll be fragging in 2weeks. 2.0 ratios on every pub.

well how much are you gonna be paying?

i paid 24.99 and that was the most i was gonna pay. but then i played multiplayer too.
