You people should be ashame of yourselves! Hanging around in this Ghost forum of a topic that will never be! Everyone knows that this "BF3" is nothing more than just a myth, and even if one day the revelation is true you'll probably have to go through Battlefield Super Squad, Battlefield bad company 5, battlefield and friends, Battlefield heroes of might and magic, Battlefield 1943 -1989 and afterwards perhaps even a battlefield the revolution war with muskets and cannons! But by then COD 20 is already out! Move along folks and stop dreaming!

Well, the fact BF3 has actually been confirmed as being in production by DICE already makes what you've said a moot point. They had to confirm after the EA bigwig ran his mouth off about it.
They just said we have no further comments for now. -

To OP: Well you're out of the loop. BF3 was confirmed by an EA executive in an interview and DICE as well. It hasn't been announced officially yet, but we now know that it actually exists. Once it's announced officially, you'll use an official section for BF3 on the EA US & EA UK forums.Comment

Why would they do that if the never plan to release another game? They aren't making any money from leading the PC gaming community on, unless they do release another game. Your argument defeats itself then. It might be a long time until BF3 is released, but it is definitely in production at some level with the goal of being released and making money. They can't make money by just pretending to be working on games and there's no way you can draw a correlation between leading people on about BF3 causing higher sales in other DICE games, either. People don't buy games based on the fact that the game developer is working on another title that they want. They might stick to a series, in which case they'll be buying an BF games that are released no matter what DICE says. You made the claim that DICE is scamming us, the burden of proof is yours, now give us evidence that supports your claim that (as I already pointed out) is the more unlikely of our two opinions.Originally posted by RedxInk
