Dedicated Servers Clarification

What exactly does "no dedicated servers" mean for MW2 MP?

Does it refer to dedicated servers that you run on your own computer, or servers like the type that MyIS rents out? MyIS has a page for server rentals here, how will that work?

Both are gone. You can run a private listen server on your own PC or you could be randomly selected as a local host, but nothing dedicated. Any box running a server on MW2 will be running a client, too.
