As I said in my other post, be sure to hold this to them.

IW said themselves to PST Joker that they were working on dedicated files but were not sure if they would make it on release.

Its easy to say.

Also want to add to all those that will say "This is DICE, they cant do this." "If they do that it will kill Battlefield" and so on, that everyone told me that about CoD also.

Also, dont forget so easy on the choices DICE has been giving this community. Game size is shrinking, things are being made for console first or only, and no serious communication about the PC side, just like IW.

We feel it's important to support the unique community needs of the PC community. Dedicated servers are a big part of this, and we recognize that requirement. We're putting a server browser and matchmaking in 1943 PC and the same features are intended for BFBC2. We're working hard on the PC version with a dedicated team building and molding the game so it is not a console port. This team is lead by DICE developers responsible for Battlefield 2. Very experienced and hardcore PC gamers.

Yes our game & engine is way too demanding for being played through P2P with all the players, vehicles & destruction going on. Which is why we pay for hosting dedicated servers for the games.

Its nice that we get this sort of communication from the DICE employees, if only Infinity Ward would do the same sometime :)
