IW playing MW2 on steam.

Just a little shred of info i found on the IW forums and steam. Apparently IW has been racking up the hours playing MW2 and MW2 MP on steam.

Modern Warfare 2 564.8 hrs

294.2 hrs Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer

Alot of meh, but its better than the big pile of nothing we have been getting from IW

I am confused as to what exactly anyone is waiting for.
IW said they are making MW2, they made a teaser, they realsed gameplay videos, they gave us a release date, now they are testing it, unless im missing something, without spoiling the game experiance, that sounds pretty reasonable. Thers a big pile of something there.

I think hes talking about strictly PC issues... like dedicated server files, server browsers, etc. etc.

Right. This is the first time we have "seen" something PC related. All footage and clips seem to be Xbox or PS3. We still have a rumor running around about a PC delay. We still have a rumor about not sure if dedicated server files will be released on time. We still have no updates on anything PC related other than, "when I left, it was fine." We still have no confirmation of punkbuster being used for MW2. No confirmation about it being on Steam either.

On top of that, a PS3 rumor was started with a fake conversation and he confirmed it was fake within a few minutes of the rumor spreading, but still no confirmation of the PC rumor.

So seeing the steam hours up is very hopeful to the PC folks. +Rep garandx for the find.
