BF2 SF prob!

Hi all i'm new to this game so go canny with me please :)

I have just been buying the complete battlefield collection, i have been playing BF2 ok {patch download ok and i'm online etc....} but i don't have SF. What do i have to do to be able to play SF?

did you buy it online with the EA download manager? it should be in there, maybe you need to activate it. Remember special forces is a different .exe so you can't play it if you launch the regular bf2.exe (the brown icon with number 2), you have to look for the green icon of a number 2.

actually SF uses the same exe, but just adds the mods path to the end: +modPath mods/xpack

If SF is installed you can also access it thru the community tab in the menu.

If its not installed, then im not sure how you get it if the cd/dvd wasnt included. If you do have the cd/dvd for it, the install order is BF2 > SF > 1.41 > 1.5

Who the heck started that 'SF uses a different .exe' story anyway? A different shortcut does not mean a different .exe .
