Removed the Nvidia drivers let Win 7 load the bult in driver. Same thing. Reloaded latest Nvidia drivers WHQL certified and all. I think this may be punkbuster related as pb didn't load when i installed BF2 I had to install COD4 before PB services were showing. any other ideas??

Out of curiosity why the name Dr. Zyklon?... if it has anything to do with the chamber gas nazis used to exterminate prisoners I wonder why you'd chose it for a nickname.

Roucious maybe you should try using pre-Windows 7 drivers, so the 18X.XXX or 17X.XXX versions.

            Pretty sinister tbh, anyways.

I would expect PB may be an issue, Win 7 is still RC so + time till this sort of issue is fixed.

That error message is generic for "you don't have code permission", Win 7 is potentially more of a Security whore than Vista.

I have noticed some stuff only installed correctly doing the following: spitting fire and shouting INSTALL DAMMIT!!! (Search CMD; R Click - Run as Admin+)

For the latest hardware Win 7 is what 98 to XP was (although VSP3:p1) - Interface is bliss.

64bit/larger memory address is the immediate future.

On a re-install I thought you had to patch it to v1.41 first and then v1.5.

                        I could be wrong!!

WOW how did I miss that. This was not a Windows 7 issue but a user issue on my part.

v1.41 installed v1.5 installed... All working now.
Thanks all sorry I'm an idiot.
