For me, I had to go to options, controls, then reset them all to default after manually updating pb, then change all joystick controls to primary, and delete anything that had 'falcon' associated with it.

Is there a way to save the deadzones with Vista?

While it does say you cant save deadzones on XP, you actually can, aslong as you make a profile first. So you should try with Vista aswell. Just ignore the warning message. Set up a profile, set up the stick, save the settings and try it out.

The problem is that it doesn't save the profile.
It should be saved in the registry but the profiles folder stays empty.

            HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Logitech\DXTweak\Profil es

Maybe I could enter it manually but I would need an existing profile for a reference.

Damn. Im not tech-savvy enough to be of any help. I´ll try to help you as soon as I get my stick back. DXTweak crashes for me when I try to create a profile, its probably broken.

When I get back to it, I´ll send you my profile. Or if someone from here has one, they definitely should.

[EDIT] Its a silly idea, but maybe if you tried running it in compatibility mode?

I tried to create profile on my XP laptop and it crashed to.
It seems that you can't use the compatibility mode with dxtweak2. The options to activate it are grayed out.
