Comander Score X2?

Question that I know probably has been beaten more times then a red headed step child...


Tonight, I was playing as usual and we were doing pretty good. My score was 115 in Dragon Valley and about 15 minutes left. I decided to command since we went most of the round without one. I ended up with 133. We won.


I know your score "doubles" if you are commander...at least it says so.


When it got to the score screen, my final score was still 133. Its done this a few times in the past and I always wonder. Sometimes it doubles, sometimes it doesn't.


Does it just double what you earned while being commander? It didn't in that round...

Any ideas?

It only gives you double points for the commander points you earn IAR.

For example you get 100 points in a chopper then decide to go commander because you don't have one. At the end of the round, right before it ends and you know you are winning.. you look at your total score, and it is 130.

At the final scoreboard you have 160 points. Get it?

Sometimes it doubles, sometimes it doesn't... because sometimes you go commander in the very beginning of the round, sometimes you don't...

Yeah, otherwise people would go on Karkand, get 250 points, command for 2 minutes and get 500 at the end :p

It's a way of controlling stat padding.
