    CODWAW disc "upkeep"

I have 48 FPS games and therefore all original discs....I ususally use Blindwrite to copy the discs for backup...T&S of gaming publishers may say this is illegal but its legal in Australia so their T&S means didderly.

However I cant copy CODWAW because apparently theres a chemical in the disc that wont allow it

So now 10 months into the game the DVD drive is having major problems loading the disc....it thinks theres nothing there....Ive tryed disc cleaner etc

I have all MOH and COD Arma etc games and have no problems with other discs.....infact I have other discs that are in worse shape than this CODWAW

have you guys got any ideas on what I can do?

    TY in advance!!

... there is no "special chemical" in the disc. I managed to make an image of my WaW disk just fine. At most, it might have SecuROM or SafeDisk.

Try alcohol 120% or PowerISO to make a backup.

I've had this problem with 2142 and I may have had it with WaW. I had to restart the computer.
