Any I the only one that likes the first CoD the most?

I just love everything about that game, it's very balanced, no perks, no information overload.

For some reason I love the older graphics more, older games like Medal of Honor and Call of Duty have more atmospheric graphics, you could feel "war" more.

I love the music, I love everything.

Multiplayer, IMO is better than even CoD4, too bad there is hardly anybody playing it. The gameplay was slower paced, more tactical. The maps were better and bigger and had better feel to them.

I'm there with you, I also really enjoyed United Offensive. A lot of good memories with those two games.

I really liked UO aswell, Base Assault was so damn awesome. Or CTF with jeeps only, those were the good days.

I kinda like CoD2 better but there was nothing like UO in that game so it's a bit mixed opinions for me.

CoD2 was way too console-like for me. I remember after the demo was released and all the CoD/UO vets complaining about the halo-style weapon system.

Halo style in what way? Never played much Halo and to be honest never played that much UO/CoD2 when they were new.

By only being able to carry two weapons and by pressing a button to switch between the two.

UO is still byfar my favorite "CoD", mainly because of BAS.

Havn't played much of the more recent COD games, but I loved UO - base assault was great. I got COD2 when it came out and was so disappointed, it was like a step backwards.

I don't think that's the case, do you?
So IW is capable of putting out games that aren't perfect? Play UO for a few hours, then jump into some CoD2. It feels like you broke your leg or something, huh?
