Does anyone know of a mod or a add on so i can have more than 24 bots in single player? I want to work on my skills but i want to have more bots than just 24. Any ideas?
Set up a local coop server. You can set the amount of bots to 48 this way, but don't move the slider for maximum players above 16 or it will lower the maximum amount of bots.
To start the game with only one player, open the console (`) and type in sv.numplayersneededtostart 1.
i went to their website and got the latest version from august, 1.05. but it CTD'ed in the middle of playing. i guess i'll wait for an update that works better with the new patch.
Viathon's mod was good for its time but is now totally obsolete. Don't even bother trying; just get the BFSP modded maps. It includes all the maps added in patches and there are expanded versions of the EF/AF maps available as well.
(When Viathon was modding there was no utility to edit the actual bot-usable area of the map [navmesh].)
bf2sp64 gets rid of coop option when you try to start a server. any way to get these back?
Co-op mode did not exist when those maps were created. Again, don't even bother with that mod; get the one from the battlefieldsingleplayer forum that includes all the newer features of the game.
huh which mod is that? are we talking about something other than bf2sp64? gimme a link then.
Again, 'BF2SP64' is the name of more than one mod. The one you have (by Viathon) was created almost 4 years ago and is very obsolete.
Natt posted the link to the BFSP expanded-map-mod forum earlier.
Take a look at the sticky threads there, esp. BF2ALL64.
I suggest you look over the rest of the forum too; it's really a must for anyone interested in SP/co-op.
