Can someone help me with finding my patch

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how i could figure out where or how to find out what current patch is installed already. I just downloaded the new patch and it keep saying i have a newer version already.

in your bf2 menu you should have a number at the bottom.

"1.5.3153-802.0" is patch 1.5
"1.1.2965-797.0" is patch 1.41

And if you have something different, patch to .41 then to .5!

Could it be that you already installed one of the 1.5 beta patches?

And if that is the case, re-install the game, and then patch to 1.41, followed by 1.5
