OK, I'm just wondering if there is a mod out there that comes with a rank/stat system (like AIX2.0 did with BFSPCC) but for BF2142. If there is, it would probably get me back into 2142 because I can't play much cos of school internet being uber sh*te.... :dead:

Not sure but I kinda remember the first strike mod were going to be adding stats.

Yes, because when I'm at school (I board) [which is most of the year] the school admins block ports so I can't play online on anything. And I kinda like to work towards something, if you know what I mean.

the AIX mod for BF2 has its own ranking system. Same as BF2 except it was not official. He was hoping that someone made a mod for 2142 that was like AIX. Would be pretty sweet as AIX is a great mod for BF2.

I have not seen any mods like this for 2142

If your parents are super rich, just tell them to get you a mobile 3G internet dongle and a gaming spec laptop.

Tell them that you are being picked on at school for being the only kid not to have such things.

You might want to shop around for a directional antenna with lots of gain ...keep your options open.

yea i would also say if you had to play online, get on data plan with your wireless carrier and tether to your PC. they have surprisingly fast speeds. in fact, my verizon evdo tether speeds were faster than my dsl. it'll cost you about 30 bucks a month i think.
