Pb error 120148

PB ERROR 120148

Was playing away just fine, but decided to restart the game in order to turn the FSAA up (now that I have 4GB of memory being recognised). When I turn BF2 back on I am getting kicked from every server I try to play on!!!

I do play with Pinnacle Profiler in order to configure my joystick better for the jets/heli but this has never been a problem before and indeed wasn't a problem for the two full hours of BF2 1.5 I had played earlier.

Anyone having same problems......anyone any remedies?

First, see whether or not shutting off Pinnacle Profiler remedies the error. From the past, error 120148 meant some file/memory error.

did you try to update you punkbuster ?

Yeah, cheers for the suggestions guys...I ended up just deleting all the BF2 folder in My Documents (not my config though obvioulsy) and it worked.
