    ... uughh.

Allright, so after solving a long list of problems regarding my BF2 as of late. Now seeing as I can finally get into a game with no problems, it has to crash to desktop after five or ten minutes of gameplay.

    Any suggestions?

Eh, but really? I can play CoD4 on all high graphics getting 100+ FPS and that doesn't make my computer overheat, but BF2 would?

Anti-virus... I actually don't have one installed right now. I uninstalled AVG to put in Nod32 but then something came up. So no?

Compatability settings are set as administrator... I updated PB manually and that already solved a different problem. And my drivers... were up to date?

What about the firewall? I take it your running vista so by compatibility I mean running in SP2 mode?

Aha, no I'm running Win7. It could still be that though.

EDIT: Well, instead of taking 5 minutes to CTD it took thirty seconds.

Correction. Never thought it would work (nor would it make any sense because I just installed new drivers because of a re-format). But installing new GFX drivers worked.

                    Really old software:
Download Battlefield 2 Cleaner - Battlefield 2 fight for one of three military superpowers: the United States, China, or the newly formed Middle Coalition.

                    It cleans the cache.

CoD 4 makes your GPU overheat.

Obviously it doesn't, as he hasn't witnessed any problems playing it?

1.5 is full of crashing apparantly. Some people can't even load the game =/

From what I seem to be reading, people running Windows 7 are having the most CTD, GFX related issues.

The alt+tab problem appears to be universal, however.
