You'd be surprised. I recall one time my buddy and I were in the Su on OCS (he was flying) and just as we went in for a bombing run our jet instantly explodes with [Artillery] being the culprit. He asked something to the effect of 'How the ****?!?!', to which I responded that traveling with me is just asking for bad luck. I was always known in my circle of friends in BF2 back when the game was still new-ish as the 'arty magnet' and it appears that not much has changed in that regard. I love being the only one killed in an arty strike and then looking at the map asking myself why I got artied instead of the entire cluster of teammates just 50m away. BF2 kind of turns into a minigame of 'guess where the arty's going to strike' some days, and that's a game I'm clearly a tad rusty at. :cry:

And my problem in the air, aside from the fact I suck at jets, is random appearing UAVs. But I've heard from some people that the J-10/F35B thing is going to be the same in 1.5 as it ever was. I didn't play the beta and I'm arse in jets regardless so can anyone who does fly and has tried the beta confirm there is a change?

Does anyone know what time the patch is supposed to be released stateside?
I read that it is 6pm UK time for them, I believe.

Well, it can take a while to get the patch up and live, so any time between 5pm - 7pm UK time, but I think the servers are going to get hammered, so expect it a bit later :p

For the US, that's 12/1pm (dunno which time zone).

yea sometime in the afternoon EST, uk time is +6 hours ahead of EST so 5pm uk is 11am for us.

but im willing to bet its not going to be around until mid afternoon - EA is fashionably slow :laugh:

you know you could have just switched your time zone on your computer clock to figure it out :p
