Fifa 09 Be a Pro Seasons

Okay, so I bought Fifa 09 late for the PC, but it was $20 and I thought I'd get into it for about 4 months before Fifa 10 comes out.

Anyway, I play the Be a Pro Seasons, but I've noticed from sites online such as this one, that I was never "on a reserve team" with my created player, I wasn't a "club legend", I never was "offered transfers" to a good team or bad team, and some other features are not there either.

I know I'm talking about the PC version, but I'm posting this in the PS3 and Xbox forums to find out, did you get to have those things I've listed? I think I'm finding out that the PC version of Be a Pro is merely controlling your one player during the game, created or a current player, and nothing else is added to it...:|:

I don't know about Fifa, but I know ProVo has the same features on PC as it does on Xbox. You have to make the bench off reserves before getting near the time, gradually get asked to play international. You get transfers in and out, so I would expect all versions of Fifa are the same,

I had all that stuff for ps3 version. Made characters and playedas real ones at several levels

... You are actually playing the "become a legend/pro" mode right?

Maybe the of version doesn't have that feature, the ps3/xbox versions do have a few things the others don't.

Yeah, I'm playing "Be A Pro: Seasons", and I created my player from scratch. I'm the LF on AC Milan and I replaced Shevchenko. I have seen the "Be a Pro" from the "Kickoff" menu, but that is purely exhibition games where you control one guy instead of the whole 4 season deal I'm in right now.

See, that's the other thing, I never had to start off on a 'reserve' team...does it look any different than the main team b/c I'm almost done with season 2 and I've seen no diff. No transfer offers after the first season, not even from a sucky team and I have won almost every game with my player doing great, and also completing the player/team tasks. Nothing about becoming a club legend, or eventually playing for the international team. You can play in tournaments or play through the kickoff menu and unlock challenges, but yeah...

I go from my first season to my second season and there was no hoorah in between...it was just another game on my list and it was going under season two. So I'm taking it...I got el screwed? lol

I'm trying to find this stuff out b/c I will want to get Fifa 10 on the PS3 if it's going to be like this. :hmm:

Looks like the PC misses out on a few things as I said. I looked at new screenshots for FIFA 10 and the PS3/360 even looks better graphically. See you on the pitch.

Yeah, they said there were updating the graphics on the PS3 and Xbox 360, but that they weren't changing the PC at all...b/c of poorer countries in the world that play this game and do not have as nice of PCs...okay. ANYWAY, graphics wise, since I've played the Fifa 09 demo on PS3, some things look better and some things look better on the PC. Animations are probably smoother on the PS3, but the PC doesn't necessarily look bad either. Both have their pluses and minuses. At this current time, I have Fifa 10 on pre-order for the PS3 since if the graphics are gonna be the same for the PC, I may as well get a new experience by having it on the PS3. And, if I don't like it as much, I can always fall back to my PC version.

Columbus Crew, Winners of the MLS 2008, Winners of the Supporters Sheild 2008, MVP 2008 Scholleto, and they are set to do it again.

I play a lot with them because they are the local team. I also play some LaLiga, Premiere, and sometimes Budasliga teams.

Yeah, I believe he was saying good as in 'world' good lol. I play with AC Milan. I'm 25% Italian, so it's part of my heritage. And obviously they're good, but then you play better teams also. So it balances out as if you were to play with an MLS team vs an MLS team.
