Gaz's Return!!!?

I was reading this on DigitalSpy.

"The voice cast for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has been revealed.

Community manager Robert Bowling has confirmed that Keith David, who starred in The Thing, Platoon and Crash, will be doing voice work for the game.


It will also feature Glenn Morshower, who played Aaron Pierce in 24, Kevin McKidd (Dr. Owen Hunt in Grey's Anatomy) and Barry Pepper from Saving Private Ryan and Enemy Of The State.

It was also confirmed that Craig Fairbrass, who voiced Gaz from the first Modern Warfare, will make a return.


It was previously announced that 50 Cent will also be lending his voice to the game.

So, why would they need Gaz's voice, if he's not returning? I smell a flashback sequence or mission.

There can't be much to flashback to, though since MW2 follows on from MW. Gaz is dead, so it must be some sort of Flashback mission or maybe it's just an easter egg.

Its Soap, and i dont think you play as soap in MW2

Gaz is dead. Their just bringing the voice actor back whos familiar with the product and will be able to preform better than bringing in a new guy.

Gaz is alive you heard it here first! Gaz copped a non lethal shot to the face disfiguring it and then putting on a mask due to it and adopting the name Ghost to represent what happened to him :)
