Xbox RROD'd repairs.

Well anyone have the Red rings and sent it in? or E74? i got some questions

1) How long did it take (ground shipping) to get it back from when you first shipped it out.
2)I heard you get a brand new different xbox (refurbished) when you get e74 or RRod, is this true?
3) did it cost anything for you?

yea... mine got 1 red ring, and e74

My mate had his console die with RROD in the UK (Not sure if procedure is same over there). When he had them come and collect it, it took about a week and half to get back. It was a brand new console, was free as it has a 3 year warranty IIRC.

That is basically summing it up for us in the US.
