Displaying two languages that I DON'T WANT

I live in Hong Kong SAR, and when i downloaded the new Xbox360 update the language on my dashboard changed from just being English to having both English and Chinese.

I don't understand a bit of chinese and just want it to be completely in English, i have tried changing the language but that has always been on the English setting and have changed the region from 'Hong Kong SAR' to 'United Kingdom' and even the 'United States', restarting the Xbox after each change. Even the new 'Solutions' section is completely in Chinese so I can't read that.

If somebody had this problem and fixed it, or if yours is completely in a language you understand, can you please help me?

Hi there,

This problem occurs because some areas of the dashboard are actually shown through Xbox LIVE rather than through your console.

The only thing I can think of that you may have not yet done, is changing your Xbox LIVE account language, and that is done via this page:

Are all of the language options set to English on there? :cry:
