    BF2 Widescreen problem

My monitor supports 120Hz at 1680x1050 resolution, but if I start BF2 with +szx +szy commands to have the correct resolution, the game launches at 60Hz which is plain horrible compared to 120Hz. I tried editing the video file to 120Hz, but then the game just crashes in menu. Is there way to force refreshrate at custom resolutions?

Max refresh rate supported by BF2 is 60hz I believe.

Nah I was just running 120Hz at my CRT monitor before I got this monitor. It's just this monitor needs native resolution to run at 120Hz and widescreen resolutions don't appear at the menu so it only shows 60Hz resolutions.

Where can I get a 120Hz CRT? It would be awesome to run 3d shutter glasses and still get 60Hz!

No, but the MIN refresh is 60Hz though. i.e. no 50Hz Thinkpads or 30Hz TV displays.
