Crashing problem, any ideas?

I just rebuilt this computer, Asus board, Intel 3.0 core 2. Same video card as before, Radon X600, I know, old. But it has worked w/ Battlefield 2 for years. Computer runs great, very stable, and runs everything else w/o problem. When I launch Battlefield 2 w/ or w/o the 1.41 patch, screen goes black and computer reboots.
Does anyone have any ideas?

i guess you should try a clean reinstall, update your drivers and take it from there.

Stock or overclocked?

Which OS and service pack?

New OS installation or just new hardware?

Which video drivers are you currently using?


I'm going to guess it's a driver issue, but it's hard to make a better guess without more info.
