All in all, I just don't see it being practical to force jets to land for re-arming.
The Value in it is that it prevents the air whores from dominating and forces a more even playing field. Once you get real good with the jet it becomes very easy to rack up your score which borders on stat padding IMHO. Making the pilot land to rearm would make most pilots work harder for their kills AND their precious 5.9 KDR. Look at KillerSpork (a well known air whore). This idiot does nothing but camp for the jet round after round and is "suspiciously"accurate, always knows where you are and ALWAYS gets the jet, no matter how low YOU ping or where you stand in the spawn area. He will NOT do anything else. Making him land and come to a complete stop to re-arm would throw his stats off probably to the point where he might consider NOT flying all the time.

Wonder if I should install the game with all expansions, boosters and maps or just the game and hope they include all in the patch? I can be optimistic.

There is no question it would be much harder work for the pilots to have to land after each bombing run and/or dogfight to re-arm. I have no objection to making aircraft slightly less effective so people can't rack up 50-0 rounds, but landing the planes each time is not the right solution.
In the end, even the most skilled pilots would spend more time on the ground reloading than flying and helping their team. Most detrimental would be all the TK'ers and idiots putting vehicles in the way or otherwise disrupting the pilots as they came in for landing, taxiing, taking-off, etc. Like I said, picture the mad rush and FTK frenzy that occurs at the start of almost every air map; it would be like that every time the pilot came in, or even worse.

The patch won't be released Thursday, that's when the announcement for the patch release is supposed to happen. So today is just an announcement to announce the next announcement.
Kind of like waking someone up to tell them it's time to go to sleep.
