May I inquire why both my posts were deleted without a reason or being notified? Are you guys censoring anything not favorable to EA/Dice?

No, merely censoring your non-constructive and trolling comments.

Re: any updates on PC version?

I'm just voicing my opinion that I know a lot of PC gamers on here feel. This was mostly been a board for PC gamers (until Bad Co. and BF1943 were on the scene), hasn't it? Anyways, the lack of news, combined with an almost Apple like level of secrecy (something most PC gamers have a hard time dealing with) and now what looks like a delay with TBA attached to it is really to much.

I mean it really looks like, with all the evidence, that they are content with the consoles and don't give a care in the world for the PC.

My frustration isn't just with DICE, but also with Activision and other games that seem to be getting console exclusive content while the PC versions are just left to rot. Now Actavisions want to jack up the PC game prices to match more closely console prices and take away all the perks of a premium price, then I get the news that BF1943 (my fallback game) doesn't have a release date and we still don't know when the PC version of Bad Co. 2 is coming out.

See, i'll let that post stay because it's actually constructive.

As for the whole PC gaming thing, you have to understand companies are here to make money for their shareholders. They are a business just like Nike, Asda, Dell, whoever.

Consoles are more profitable and a lot, lot easier to program games for (well, maybe not the PS3), but it's just a lot more enticing than making a game for PC at the moment. You should still count yourself lucky that we get free DLC, but, times change, PC gaming isn't the biggest market anymore.

No good will be done by moaning, you have to accept the fact and move on.

I don't mind paying for DLC, review my post on the BF2 board when the expansions and boosters came out, thought they were a great idea (boosters more so since you didn't need to restart the game). I do mind BF Heroes, if you look at the pay content, you quickly realize that that game is actually more expansive (and get less content) then the straight up pay content like BF1943 (can only use the console example of Xbox LIVE). Hell, I've even said a subscription based BF game would be a great idea, it would force them to keep content (and freaken updates) coming, look at WOW and LOTRO. I own a live time membership for LOTRO, yes $300, but I know it will keep going for some time to come (I played since the start, but was sub. based to begin with so I missed when it was $199. Would of cost more if I waited for a yearly sale.).

Right, but my main point was that PC is no longer the primary market. They aren't going to treat it as one if the real profit is elsewhere.

                Seems that way.

Yup, some things can be changed by arguing, but you can't turn a market around (by yourself at least).

Things change over time, gaming being one.

Re: any updates on PC version?

I blame Microsoft for throuwing money at developers to create exclusive content, like they did in the PC market which eventually landed them with an antitrust. Sony and Nintendo aren't really competition (Sony being almost dead and Nintendo being a niche market), but since they do exist, gov't can't sue 'em and kill the console. I mean, they are doing it right, they are going the way that it should evolve, but it doesn't feel like a place for PC gamers, almost like Apple vs PC; Apple's way is more logical, but you feel more confined. I wish that LIVE would make a provision like they have for games for windows, that the games have to be across PC and Xbox with the same content and your Xbox LIVE account was across both with all the same content. I have friends that play Xbox only, I would love to be able to play against them. Now instead we are chomping at bits and pieces of info for a PC game that has been out for months on the consoles.

EDIT: I have a LIVE (both Windows and Xbox, created for LAN games), EA, Steam and xfire account, throw me a freak'en bone.

By posting your discontent with the way things are going, the developers might start to notice. If we say nothing, than they will simply assume their assumptions are correct.
