I don't see Russia joining the EU any time soon. It's just me - I picture BF3 as being somewhere between BF2 and BF2142 in terms of timeline, and Russia being part of the EU and going against the United States wouldn't work.

My vote is still for United States/European Union/China/Russia and maybe an Arab League (Makes more sense than "Middle Eastern Coalition").

Anyway. I wouldnt mind seeing something other than USA. Kinda the way 2142 did it, maybe Asia vs. Middle east or something.

The USA is a given because of the market and what I assume is the No.1 rule for making big Sterling - feature heroic Americans killing hordes of enemies.

Additionally, the Yanks get terribly upset when they ain't cast as the main protagonists in games. But quite frankly I will be disappointed anyway if they make a return because it is getting rather dull. No offence intended.

It would make sense for the U.S. to be in the game. If there's a big, crazy war going on, U.S. troops will likely be sent in to aid whatever side is friendly towards the U.S. Defending freedom, and all.

I say WW2 Allies and Enemies but modern day warfare like USA & Russia vs Europe but hey this is coming from the mind of a American who likes eastern bloc weapons and such :thumbsup:

Actually I don't think many people in America would care at all if we weren't the main protagonist. There's actually a large amount of people who would think it would even be a good thing, just to have a change.

lol we could care less if we're not protagonists. when have we been upset at that anyways? i don't think there was a game when they were antagonists though.

I'm Pretty sure russia hasn't moved very far. Also, the Russians dont actually use the -101 its an export Item really.

The AK-103 and -105 is being used in small portions by the Russian military. It's possible that the AK-103, AK-105, and AN-94 will phase out the others.

I somewhat doubt the abakan will replace the -74, the other -100's maybe. The AN94's (abakan) biggest selling point (the 2 burst fire at 2000 rpm) didnt work out all too well afaik. Also its an ergonomical Nightmare (that was from world.guns.RU, not a biased american site)

I would respond that it would be a good idea as well as a good idea you get banned for another period of time.
