It makes it so the remote doesnt have to be looking at the screen. Like, Now you can throw frizbees and skydive and such.

Its much more receptive, and alot more precise. It tells the wii where the remote is in space. So, now, instead of just making a movement and that movement initiates an action (like, moving your arm makes the guy throw a punch), The game will follow your controller and act with it (you move the remote, and the sword goes that way)

Bio for the part says:
"Wii MotionPlus tracks players' movements in finer detail and with greater accuracy."

So basically, it just makes it more realistic. And its the balls.

I wonder if it's going to be as big as the first one. The first Wii sport was huge, everybody was playing it.

Even the games that were already on Wii Sports were improved with MotionPlus controls.
I really thought the Wii was going to be like this in the first place, though.
