Does the player character even know how to use a gun?

I've been playing sniper a lot recently and have been using the L96 and I noticed something a little odd. The guy is holding it wrong.



As you can see, the l96 has a hole in the stock for the shooter to put his thumb through, but the guy decides to hold the rifle with his thumb on top despite the rifle being freakin' huge.

Although I cant find any pictures of it online and for some reason my computer hates screenshots. So would anybody be willing to post a picture of the L96 as you see it when its equipped?

I held the L96 once, lighter than you might think.

Gaahhh!!! I knew I would have trouble explaining this without pictures. What I ment was that when somebody is using the L96 ingame the Soldier character has his thumb behind the bolt as you might with the M24 rather than through the hole in the stock as the shooter above does. Not a big deal but kind of weird.

it is true, the players thumb goes where the "folding stock" is pointing to on the above picture.

also 6.5kg is heavy for a rifle.

Some of the reload animations are longer then they need to be, but it would still work if you reloaded that way. Still better than CS's animations though.

Who cares. There are more important things to worry about.
