BF2 runs bad

320GB hard drive

It gets really choppy and its pretty hard to play with this lag. Im pretty sure my laptop can run it but idk. Oh btw i got vista.

That graphics card is pretty pants

Try lowering your graphics or resolution.

What resolution?

Try updating your graphics drivers?

Also, what ping are you getting in game?

im running lowest res and i'm getting low ping, and joining servers with low ping. n all drivers are updated

Make sure the laptop isn't overheating, get a cooler for it...

I have the same card in my laptop. I can run bf2 in 1920*1200 on all medium settings and max drawing distance, no FSAA. It's pretty decent. I get anything from 30 to 100 fps, which is acceptable. Your card shouldn't lag at all.

Make sure you read the quickstart guide on how to install these drivers. I use this one and it runs hot, but will handle bf2 just fine.

yeah i have pretty much the same system and i run mostly high @ 1440x900 pretty smoothly. do check again that u have everything updated including bios, chipset drivers, bios..and check for viruses / spyware.
