Well I installed FRAPS and went hunting for caboosekiller. Found him on the UK Xtreme Shingle server. It was pre-round and my target was on the opposite team. He was picking people off with the Pererra pistol. I swapped teams, set my FRAPS recording and went in.

I think I may have made it too obvious and he got wise. I found no evidence of aimbot snapping when observing. He does seem to be a good player regardless. However - it just doesn't feel right. He seems to know where you are at all times. Yes he was commanding and yes he was using scans but even so.

I could be wrong about this guy. If anyone gets a chance to get on that Shingle server, have a look and see what you think.

I checked out his stats page and while he had some pretty good hit percentages with pretty much all of his weapons, I would expect a botter to be much higher. I don't know much about the "mind of the botter" but I would assume that some would also make it a point to fire off a bunch of random rounds at nothing just to keep their stats from looking suspicous.

Still seems fishy though.

Yes - I checked his stats page also. They are very average numbers and his accuracy is just 19% overall.

Those in themselves are strange for a player that can consistently shoot people on the Command Tower from the Refugee Camp flag with the baur. Also in the pre-round run last night this guy was absolutely slaughtering me and another player. If he was legit you'd expect him to have some good numbers on his profile page.

Maybe a name spoof or something.

Either that or some kiddie that just recently d/led the cheats and so his cheat stats are just starting to mix with his non-cheat stats.

I killed him 3 times consecutively with 4 bullets or less

Had he taken the time to visit your stats page he would have realised that trying to best someone with well over 2000 hours under their belt isn't a walk in the park.

If they did, they wouldn't be using cheats in the first place.

What's funny are sniper-botters. There was this one guy I've played with/against that would aimbot with the Zeller, and even when zigzagging up a flight of stairs 10m away from him he would be able to HS you while standing at the top (try this yourself without a bot, it's essentially impossible to do consistantly). What's funny was his utter lack of situational awareness; for someone so 'good' at the game you'd think he'd have more knowledge of actually how to play it, but alas you cannot download brains. When I was in his squad I stopped knifers from stabbing him in the back on two separate occasions, and when I later saw a third go for him I thought, 'frack it' and just let him get stabbed since he pretty much deserved it.

Even before I enter a server I check it first as I would rather not play than play with a hacker on the server, also I check to see if any of the server clan are playing so they can hopefully police the server

Another one in the FF FUNSERVER #1.

Someone called 'Terror Laidal', or something along those lines. He was definitely a member of a clan called Terr0r; self made perhaps? Screen shots in 2142 work at random, mostly not at all for me, so I couldn't get a shot.

The few times I get to play lag free and there was this c*c-k head on there. Still, his team lost, ha, and I podded on him... that being the first time I've ever pod killed someone, in fact its the only time I've tried, lol, and it happened to be him (or her, probably a 'him')!

And 'Frack it'? Someone's been over dosing on Battlestar Gallactica! :p

Ran into another one last night on the GHF Gibraltar server. He was around 33-4 and even his own teammates were accusing him of aimbotting.

I ended up getting PB kicked for "RDX whoring". Since I'd played the entire round as assault, I'm assuming that one of the GHF guys just kicked everyone because of this guy.

came across wolli15 today, was funny, i pwned him so hard it was unfair, i outshot him with a pistol on long range. he gotta learn to aim because even with his aimbot he is totally crap. this was the result of the first round me vs him:

Bleh, Camp G, I wished they'd stay on that God awful map.

However, I have joined about 6 servers in the last 3 days and 4 of them had blatant aim botters in them. This game has gotten bad, really bad from my experience. Think I'll crack 40k kills and leave it till September when I have a more stable connection.

Saying that I think it may have more to do with not being able to play during peak hours when the 'normal' people are online rather than the freaks and the geeks who play out of work hours such as mid afternoon and past 1:00am.

I'm on a server, shooting lots of things one round. Next round some guy named "stat3m3nt" joins opposite team. Instantly starts botting it up from the get go. He eventually gets kicked by admin.

About 2 rounds later he returns. And lol, he must have turned his bot off because he couldn't hit a 1k/d after that.

Fancy that, a cheater actually intimidated by admining.

It's 1:40am and I actually managed to get a perfect game on Bridge and Remagen Titan (highly rare this map; like a fine wine or expensive cigar). One of those really tight finishes where each side is desperately trying to blow up the others core at the same time having destroyed all the consoles.

There was a botter but he was gunning around with the Anti-Tank sub machine gun; so a minor annoyance.

I've been working on my support badges the past few days and I'm amazed at the number of guys who have accused me of aimbotting with the Clark - come on, it's pretty much 1s1k, but apparently a lot of guys don't know that.

Kind of fun though.

I also picked up my pistol badges last night using the recon cloak to its full advantage and I got accused of all kinds of stuff.

Fun times.
