That seems to be a little bit of a favoritism post. Stating reasons as to why you prefer one over the other will probably be more helpful to others.

I played the PES 2010 demo for PC and love it. It's so much better than PES 2009 gameplay and graphically.

It is, I've been playing Pro Evo for as long as I can remember. It's always been the better football game, they did muck up the last two, but the new demo just blew me away.

Understandable therealmat. So is this available on the PS3 also for download? I only tried it on the PC.

And this game used to be Winning Eleven, right? I always remember some people saying that Fifa wasn't the best soccer game for gameplay.

Well, I played both the FIFA 10 demo and the PES 2010 demo back and forth the last the last few days. I have to say that yes, Fifa 10 has improved from Fifa 09, but...I believe PES 2010 is going to win me over. Since I have given my opinion of Fifa 10's demo before, here is how I see PES 2010, with obviously some comparisons to Fifa 10's demo:

The random moments of gameplay...you have to experience. It almost feels at first that the passing is more mechanical/stiff compared to Fifa, but as for the actual gameplay, and the way things happen or how people score...wow, I'm blown away. I was playing vs. France and Henry was running down the nearside and he lofted a cross over a couple defenders heads and curved in towards the middle of the outside penalty box. My defender just missed heading it away and the other French player dove out and hit it with his head straight into the goal about 4 yards away... Even though the goal was against me, I was like freakin' a that was awesome! Also, I've had the ball bounce randomly off people and it's much more realistic and can lead to goals or breakaways also...or goals against me lol. And thank you Konami for making a net act like a net. For Fifa on the consoles, the net is amazing, no prob at all, but for Fifa on the PC, it's like the thing is made of rubber or something and not allowed to move much. You'd have to see the weirdness to understand, but it does not act like a loose, real net.

Now, one thing I still do not like about Pro Evo is that the people all hold their arms down at their waists like little girls when they're running, and they do run like they either have something stuck up their butt or like actual chickens. But, as for the rest of the graphics, in many ways, they're better than Fifa. For the teams shown, I believe some of their faces are more realistic looking that Fifa's.

And the menu system is a tad better in Fifa 10 imo, just seems easier to go through.

Also, I looked at the controls, but the modify button doesn't seem to work for Pro Evo. I know if Fifa, I have the button to hold plus shoot for a chip shot over the goalie, and a button to hold plus shoot for a curved shot, but I haven't figured out how to do that in PES 2010 yet...anyone? Maybe therealmat since you've played that series before?

Neither Fifa 10's demo or PES 2010's demo feel polished, and I still believe there are some things that need to be fixed, but the more I play both the more I feel like I'm playing a real game with great "OMG, did you see that" type of moments with PES 2010. I have always played Fifa, but hence the reason I made this post a long time ago and people said that was true about the gameplay, the "OMG" moments and now that I have played it, I can attest to that.

Has anyone noticed (in FIFA10 demo) that you can't substitute a player that has been red carded?

Abidal was red carded, and usually in FIFA09, I'd swap a CM for any defender I lose, and sub that CM for another defender.

                        Basically this happens for example:

LB gets red card -> Swap LB player into CM position (hence CM player is moved to LB position) -> Swap the CM player (who is in LB) for an LB on the bench.

That was the logical way of doing it. Now, you can't even select the red carded player, which I find rather retarded...

Fifa, played it since 96 and always loved it.
                          Its the football game legacy.

It's officially official. Endorsed by Fifa themselves.
