WipEout HD appreciation thread

You read it, it is awesome.

I never was a fan of the wipeout games on the PS2 I think I only played one of them once at a mates house. But WipEout HD is epic, amazingly epic.

I always find myself playing it when I'm bored with everything else, plus the trophies are damn tough which means you have something to work towards!

Epic game deserves it's own thread :yay:

I've always loved wipeout.
I need to play it more, I did an online race for the first time in months earlier this week, and got beaten!

Fury expansion/DLC got released today and I totally forgot about it until I was checking the store and there it was and I was just about to get around to playing through Ghostbusters :awes

If I buy my HDTV, this is a definite maybe on the list of games to get. I remember playing the old one back in the day, but this seems to pwn those old graphics lol.

I think I might have played one of the older wipeout's once or twice at afriends but never really got into it, until I got sucked in Wipeout HD. For the price they are selling it at it really is a steal, plus I think you get the PS1 game too??

this is a definite maybe on the list of games to get.

I haven't really got that familiar with them, at least not as much as the original ones obviously. I've only really just got to grips with the game modes.

Managed to grab 100% trophies now too, their a million times easier on Fury.:wee:

Pygnosis have been making amazing racing games.

Rollcage 1 and 2 were also epic.

Awesome game and great to see a proper DLC expansion for it.

New game modes, better online play and great new tracks.

The 'Fury' expansion pack is well worth purchasing

I haven't played Fury properly yet, after I've gone through my games and got bored again I'm pretty sure I'll go back to it. For me Wipeout is one of those games that you can always go back to, it's realy addictive for me.
