High ping after patching

Well ive had this problem where i installed the game and played online fine with a ping of 50-80 100 at highest which was fine no problem.

but i got fed up with the no rank upgrade or no medels without the patch so i installed the patch and have tried to do this 3 times already and get this same problem where everytime i install the patch my ping goes up to 400

Ive already went to task manager and got rid of everything i could but nothing.

And it must be the patch beacuse everytime i play without it its fine but im always starting as private instead of first sergant without the patch.

and my firewall off as well just stays the same

do install patch 1.5 to help

i doubt it's the patch. sorry that you think it is. perhaps recheck your firewall settings.

By all means ill try that but why would it give me a ping of 80-100 without the patch then with 1.41 say ill give you a patch of 300-400 how do i find firewall settings with vista.
