Even Higher Graphic Tweak Settings?
Does anyone know how i can make it even higher, i have 1600*900, 16*aa,etc... i went in the nvidia control panel and changed some stuff. Are there any mods or tweaks or something so i can make this way higher?

if you go to the settings files in my documents/battlefield2142/profiles/000x/video.con
change the ingame AA to higher settings if you want. also you can change the resolution of the game in that file or you can change it in the shortcut by adding +szx 1600 + szy 900 for example. the numbers can be changed ofcourse. -

you can change all the settings in there to higher settings than ingame. ingame you usually can only get up to 3 but here you can get up to 4 too, but i dont know if it has a effect. for a mod you cant get online on normal servers.Comment

Raising graphics in the config above the stated number ingame will not make any difference.
The only way is to force settings through Catalyst Control Centre or Forceware.Comment

no man, the game has limits, other than raising the AA, there's not much more you can do to make it look better.

You can raise the resolution and AA/AF, but everything else is limited by the quality of the game. There's supposedly a hidden "very high" setting, but setting game configs to 4 doesn't work.
In the game intro you can see bullet casings being ejected, but I have no idea if that was even included in the final game.Comment

Force AA does not always work in games. You are limited by your screens resolution - once you set your highest res or native res on an LCD that is as good as it will get.
Once you set the games highest settings there is not much you can do to improve things. Your only option is to set things in the control panel of your video card. On an Nvidia you can change things like transparency antialaising etc which will give you a slight improvement on some things.
From there we need someone to port the game to a new software engine like Frostbite or Cryengine2 ;D - this will not happen.Comment
