      "disallowed program/driver"

yet I played for 2 hours 2 nites ago - same system - no problems then

I did just get 5 mins in a game (vs the typical 1 min before Boot)
for about 10 straight games in 10 different servers

      will try to reboot now

Yea, that is a pretty common error if you are running disallowed 3rd party programs, for example Wegame recording gets you kicked, macros and some keyboard software can get you kicked also. Just close any unnecessary background programs while playing.

Yea, that'll be tied to either apps used for macros or programs that are known to be a chink in PB's armour. I believe FRAPS was on it for a while.

You need to have FRAPS updated to the latest version and make sure you have xfire updated aswell. If it continues turn off xfire, FRAPS and xfire are a common program to be kicked for across all games.

I have had this problem for a long time now. It usually occurs when I load into certain servers, then every server after that I get kicked from for the same reason.

The simple fix I have found is to turn off you firewall, then using PBsetup delete Battlefield 2 and do a manual update to add it back on. Then it should work. Note what server you are loading into when it first starts happening after that and you can tell which ones are making the error.

Re: PB kicks -- non -stop = why??

I have Win XP SP 1 = NO firewall on my system
No fraps, no xfire, no wegames, no macros, NOTHING
and as I said, this is the SAME system with NO new software
                just started happening
will try to delete BF2 from PB as suggested and re-add it
(that is something I never tried but will - thanks for idea- will report back if it works)
                ********************
no luck - will try a full new install tomorrow
                (anyone else have any ideas??)

                thanks

I'm sure why you'd still be using SP1 ; ), update it if you can. Also try deleting all files except pbsetup.exe, run again.
