Release date?

I thought 1943 was going to be released in June for PS3 and Xbox360 and then the PC would follow in September. But I just looked on Gamspot and it had a September release date on all platforms. Which is correct?

September on PC was officially announced by DICE, so I would go with that.

Many other sites have also have Q3 as the release date now, well just have to wait and see what Dice says tonight.

I was watching a gamespot interview about 1943 and the guy said that he got called the night before (was i think the last day of E3) and he said that the game is done.


So basically we are waiting for BOTH sony and Microsoft to finish their Check with the game which i guess takes a few weeks.

so im guess that it will be out in 2 weeks if not the beginning of July

what pees me of is that for any multi platform game, the damn console game always comes out first and the pc verison always gets delayed a few months. Fair enough if they are doing a seperate port but shouldn't they do both games at the same time? I hate waiting ages for the pc one to be released while console peeps get to play first....stinks

and they when the pc game comes out, it's;

full of bugs
runs slow
has lots of crap protection
takes up 12-15gb+
takes ages to install and is probably split between 2 dvd9's.
rahhhhhhhhhhh!

now, i'd get the console version if xbox live was free, or if xbox games were the same price as pc games. (preferably both)

Yea, Gordon says its out of there hands now that the game is done. They have to wait on PSN, and Microsoft. He just stated in the EAUK forums that it is looking more likely to be early July.

I just hope when the pc version is done it's not a complete mess. Because it looks like it'll be loads of fun.

Well, one can hope, right? I'm sure I'm passing BF:H, hoping that BF43 will be some fun all the while expecting a great BF3 to be delivered next year.
