Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
It seems you can find this game in limited release until it is fully released on June 2nd. You can get it directly from D2D and from Nova themselves. Not sure If I am going to buy it or not. Wasn't really a fan of DFX. I am sure alot of people didn't even know they were coming out with a new game.
Played the beta, thought it was surprisingly fun just to mess around in. Graphically however, its on par with about 2003 gfx, but it was pretty fun just to run and gun in. Not going to buy it.
I loved all the old DF games and JO was awesome, but I honestly was not impressed with DF: Xtreme at all, hopefully DFX2 will be better. *Just looked at some of the screenshots, looks similar - which isn't bad, brings back good memories - so I may give it a shot.
I saw this advertised the other day on Novalogic's website after I decided to see what the hell happened to them. I loved JO/JOE and played the BHD games a very small amount of the DF games. They were great.
Never played DFX, I had a few clan mates that used to play it and they seemed to enjoy it, but it does seem like it should be time Novalogic should bring their stuff up to date, if they can't afford to do that then they should seriously look around for someone to buy them up so they can get back producing some serious cutting edge games again.
I downloaded the Beta wasn't very impressed, the gameplay was alright but gfx was sub par.
I am a fan and veteran of BHD, BHD:TS and JO they are awesome games i just hope the final relears of DFX2 is good and i am also waiting for another Nova game called Angel Falls.
It seems like the Xtreme series isn't really for prior fans of the Delta Force games so much. They're more like remakes with very little in the way of new content. They look a little better than the originals, and don't cost much, so maybe they're just trying to get new players to try their games.
Still running the JO/JOE for the IC tourney and we as a community aren't really impressed with it that much. Also a few guys have bought the retail version and it doesnt seem finished plus no AAS style maps available to play on.
If you guys still have your JO/JOE feel free to jump on our site we are still running around 100 to 120 man battles on sundays with the IC version of them.
DFX2 is a poor product compared to the IC or ICE mod we are using in the JO:IC Tournament. As an IC player, IMO, the DFX2 beta is junk. Apart from remapping keys, it is in no way different from JO/JOE. Hell, even the graphics are none too impressive. Don't waste your money. Pick up JO/JOE for $10, DL the IC mod and join us. :)
Tried it and the sounds FX are little better than JO, graphics are relatively the same as JO. No AAS ruins it completely for me, as that is the biggest attraction for me. I will stick with my JO in the IC Tournament until Delta Force Angel Falls finally sticks its head up out of the rumor mill. Can't beat the server size for JO.
My friend got it a couple days ago. He played it, while i watched, and we weren't necessarily disapointed. It wasn't what we expected. It was basically a giant piece of crap.
Yeah as Nightlore was kind of getting at, it does smack you as a cheaply produced product to tide over Novalogic until they can release something bigger.
