Ok, really weird issue here.

I went to load my BF2 and the shortcut looks like a dead link (no bf icon). I go to load it and i get the missing file , trying to search blah blah.
I go directly into the folder and the bf2.exe is gone !

I load the auto run on CD and it doesn't give me a load option.

I load the CD and look for bf2.exe to maybe do a copy paste and its no where to be found.

WTF is going on ?

I will go ahead and say your best bet is to

Uninstall BF2.
Reinstall BF2.
Patch to your liking.

Could go Run>Search bf2.exe, however, a full reinstall is more advisable.

If you are using a shared PC, maybe someone didnt want you playing BF2 and deleted it?

Nope, maybe my CPU did it cause its tired of loading the same old @$$ game over and over again !

My Bf2 icon disappeared also so I just replaced it with a generic icon and everything works fine now.
