So as the demo's out what are your thoughts?

For me when I first read about this on PSB I thought it was some POS that Sony had picked up as an exclusive and were selling their heart out, but when I actually read up and watched the Q&A it did spark a fair bit of interest.

The demo striked me with a nice big sign of Meh didn't seem to blow me away, I might give it another bash later and see if I needed to give it a little more time. I did really like the comic cut-scenes their great and fit in really well.

But anyways what's everyone else think of it?

Haven't played inFamous yet, watched my bro play it, it seemed ok... seems like a mix between Assassins Creed (since you can climb buildings, hang off side of trains etc.) and Spiderman Web of Shadows...

Graphics aren't ground breaking or anything, but the comic style cut-scenes are good... (I liked it in Mirrors Edge, and its good in this too)

I think my bro will probably get it, since he's into action/adventure games that offer 'sandbox' type gameplay (like GTA) since you don't have to play level-to-level, you can just venture around the city when not in a level... plus there isn't any other PS3 game out where you can climb buildings, fire electric balls, heal citizens via electricity, push cars out of the way, and perform stunts...

played the demo a couple of weeks ago it is interesting.. not a ground breaking PS3 exclusive but not a bad one either. It will have a good early jump on Prototype from Activision.

I bought it yesterday after work, still siting in it's seal though so not sure if I'll return it yet.

I'd say the storyline was enthralling enough to get me to play until the end.

The trophies are also worth taking some time to grab.

Still, this game only lasted twenty hours. I'd say it's more of a rental than a keeper.

hey y'all, i'm new around here...
i think its really good, i liked it better than prototype but thats just my opinion
and twenty hours of gameplay is a lot these days... considering most games nowdays the main campaign only last 7-8 hrs

The demo was very interesting, but I have other priorities for now. But I'm sure that the game should be very good.

Yeah this game is still sat under a bunch of my other games, I really should give it a go, but I think I'm going to finish up a few of my other ones first I guess.

I have this game coming and can't wait to try it, I mainly play 360 but I am trying to play the PS3 more, Uncharted is the only game I have played on it yet
