If I wanted a game where it was really easy to kill somebody I would have been playing COD for years , but I have not , also If I wanted regen health I would have been playing COD for years , but I have not.

Really everything I love about Battlefield games have changed so much there is no real point in my following the series any more , and I have been a Battlefield fan since June 2005 , it seems Battlefield has had its day now , and now its over , for me at least , I was really really looking forwards to this game but not anymore.

You cut the quote off just before the key statement:

So, it appears it won't be as fast/arcadey as COD4.

The "easier to kill" statement can also be taken a few ways...

1) By doing away with the medic needle, you can't get health back as quickly, so that makes players easier to kill. Some people probably thought this meant making weapons deadlier, which may not be the case.

2) Remember that this game first came out on Console last year. On Consoles, aiming is a lot harder due to the less-precise analog sticks, and when you watch videos on YouTube, it often took waaay too many bullets for Consolers to kill each other in Bad Company 1. This was probably a source of frustration, so by reducing the ability to get back health as quickly/easily, players will die faster.

A fair number of PC players who loved the BF series tried BC on Console last year, and aside from the damn controller, liked what the game had to offer. It's your call, but you might want to wait for a demo to try it yourself, or read a larger number of opinons on this site once the game comes out to see if the "new" style of game works or not.

yea this is more a console game than PC so wait for the pc exclusive title if u want the true BF experience.

IMO, then he might be waiting forever. Consoles make so much money, that unless you're pretty much a PC-exclusive developer (or your business model is at least PC-centric like Valve), it's just not good economic sense to make a PC-only title anymore. The profit isn't high enough.

When BF2 came out, PC online gaming was still king. Those times have changed, unfortunately, and I think this is the big mental stumbling block PC users are going to have to get over. Things aren't the same anymore economically, and big PC-only games like that will only show up rarely anymore, if at all. It will more likely be on multiple platforms. The sooner some people accept that, the sooner they can either sit back and enjoy what comes along, or go find another hobby.

As I've said before, I believe that once the next versons of Xbox/PlayStation come out, they will have the processing and network/online power to run a large server game like BF2, and then something like BF3 will come out for all platforms. By the time that happens, PC will of course have moved further ahead, so even the advanced Consoles will be lagging behind...but at least they'll be able to offer up a more robust MP experience that will likely be "enough" to make the majority happy.

If you had played the first Bad Company, you would understand why it's better they're making people die faster.

Considering you can be killed almost instantly by standard weapons in BF2 and 2142, I really don't see where your complaint is coming from.

This sounds like a typical person being typical. People don't like change for whatever reason.

Just deal with it, and play with your friends. You'll have just as much fun either way.

I would imagin that this "kill Cam" would be optional for the PC's, although if it helps the game flow along better i wouldn't necessarily be opposed to it.
