You get that by putting down an APM or Motion Mine and then having someone die by it while you're on a ladder, right? I've seen people do that in BF2 before.

I think it was a motion mine. ...Although just being on a ladder while you get a motion mine kill isn't enough. I've been on ladders before when my motion mine has got a kill, and it's shown as just [KILLED] or even come up as a mine kill.

In the past I had had the ladder kill concept introduced to me as "something that used to happen in BF2".

In BF2142 it seems to just be very very rare and semi-random.

This is highly comical. I always imagined ladder kills being you slide down on top of someone while they're climbing the ladder and they kinda just fall or something. That'd be funny.

I always imagine a ladder kill being a Jackie Chan style martial arts @$$-whoopin' somehow involving ripping a ladder off of a building and going all hi-ya on the enemy.
